If you ever wanted to create your own 100 Negronis list but did not have the scores of ingredients to accomplish such a thing, you can do it at this fabulous East Village New York City Bar Amor y Amargo which offers what is perhaps the largest selection of vermouths and amari in the world.
On this day I created this beauty with two hard to find liquors, for the gin I went with good old Beefeaters. A fav of many Negroni makers. For the vermouth I chose the amazing Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino and Amaro Lucano Anniversario.
Equal parts of each, stirred over ice and garnished with orange peal. Exquisite! Perfect for Negroni # 100!
Amaro Lucano Anniversario is a "prestigious version of the Classic Amaro Lucano celebrates the 120th anniversary of the founding of the company." More
Martini® Riserva Speciale Rubino, made with Nebbiolo wine and sandalwood deliver the bright ruby colour to our vermouth di Torino, inspiring the name Rubino. Made in Genova, the home of the Italian spice trade, made Rubino what it is – a rich palette of flavours. More
